Script to Run as Root

[Bench <bench boracay surfshop net ph>]

How can I make a script run as root when it is invoked thru an alias,
e.g.:

test: "| /usr/local/bin/root-script"

I want to do this so that I can modify some special files by mailing
to the alias 'test'.
