cant access xwin

I cant access to xwindow after I compile 2.0.35 kernel, but If I used my
old kernel (2.0.32), startx works fine.
This is what happen if I type startx :

_X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111
giving up.
xinit:  Connection refused (errno 111):  unable to connect to X server
xinit:  No such process (errno 3):  Server error.
