re:kernel problem

Hello Everyone

I am upgrading my redhat 5.1 kernel from 2.0.34 to 2.0.35.I can configure
the kernel successfully.After that I am able to compile it also.but when I
reboot the system , I am unable to boot the system from new kernel.Can
anybody please send  me all the steps how to compile the kernel or if there
is any site from where I can take some help to upgrade the kernel from
2.0.34 to 2.0.35.
