I'm on MSN too -- if you want to get your email with Linux, check out Hugo
Rabson's most shockingly excellent Hotmole. This script par excellence will
let you download MSN email via Hotmail. I bet you didn't know that you can
access MSN email through Hotmail... because it's MS owned nowadays, it
supports the authentication to the SQL Server backend that Outlook/Outlook
Express provide. Hotmole then presses the right Hotmail buttons for you,
automagically, and forwards any emails to your local mail account.
However, I concur that MSN should adhere to open standards so that we didn't
have to come with such elaborate workarounds.
