ATI PC2TV

I noticed that the new XFree86 supports the ATI PC2TV card. I am interested
in using it's television out put to be able to set up a Linux based "set
top" box. I have tried playing around with the XF86Config file to get this
to work, but I either get a scrambled screen or X errors when I tried to run
X. I booted the system into Windows and checked for the Hz and V refresh
rates. Windows says that at 640x480, the rates are:

Vert:61
Horiz:37.8

When I enter those in for XF86Config, or valuse that are close and
coresspond to the modelines, I just get and error saying there is no valid
mode called 640x480. What am I doing wrong? I am sure this has got to
work. If the card can do this in Windows WITHOUT the ATI drivers intalled,
then it should be able to do it under Linux. I've even gotten this tow work
under NT when ATI didn't have drivers for NT. This leads me to believe that
the card converts the VGA scan rates to NTSC compatible scan rates. I'm
still working on this one...
