X is complaining that there is no 640x480 mode line defined in
/etc/X11/XF86Config.
Re-run Xconfigurator and select 640x480 as one of the modes you want,
or borrow a nice 640x480 mode from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/doc/Monitors and
copy it into your "Monitor" section.
