The rpm man page seems to indicate that the '+' should
be immediately after the rpm file name.
I am doing this as root.
ls shows the rpm files in the current working
directory.
I tried rpm -ivv and saw the install process fly by.
Now doing a 'rpm -q -a' shows the two packages I want
installed.
One of them is the G2player. It also shows up in the
GUI package manager and verifying it shows no
problems. Pressing the configure button gives me
'Package path: /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS'. I don't find
G2player on the window manager's menus and and trying
to start it by clicking a webpage link causes the
message 'G2player: command not found'.
What did I do wrong? Should I remove the two packages
and start over?
Thanks,
Mike
