mirroring archives

Hi :)

I ran into something that I thought would be easy but... well... yeah.  It's
not working the way I thought it would and so I finally decided I'd make it
easy on myself and ask you guys to see how others do it.  What I'm talking
about is mirroring files and directories from one server to another.  What's
the best way you guys have found to do it?

At first I was just planning on using remote copy and that ended up being a
total pain in the rear-end.  I verified that rsh is working because I can
rsh from the target machine to the source machine.  I can even use rcp to
grab single files from the source server.  The problem is that I get the
error message, 'not a plain file' when trying to rcp a directory from the
remote server.  Any ideas?

Maybe I'm going about it all wrong.  Is there an even easier way to mirror
files and directories between servers?
