I wouldn't be surprised if the original poster and MacCraw are just
two
paranoid MS fanatic buddies trying to stir up trouble. Too me the
original post was too lame to not be inflammatory. Nobody, not even
the
most ignorant Win95 person in the world posts a question like "I'm
having
trouble booting Win95, can you help me" to a non-MS newsgroup or
list.
I am a newbie on this list but I have been reading it for several weeks now.
The original poster was someone who has posted many messages before this. He
(if the poster is a woman, I apologize) has always posted very polite
messages asking questions about Linux.
In this case, I sincerely believe that he was simply looking for help from
people who have helped him in the past. Even if it was concerning Win95, I'm
sure he felt that the people here were intelligent and friendly enough to
help him anyway. generally, I think he is right. The original poster, Bing
Lu, I feel deserves an apology. I think we all need to be a bit more
tolerant and understanding.
Now, as for the second poster, Mr. MacCraw... the less said, the better.
That's my 2 cents...
