On Sat, 31 Jul 1999, Greg Thomas spewed into the bitstream:

list.

My impression was that the original poster was not a native english
speaker and
he/she was just kind of limping along on the list. It wasn't his/her
only post
and they all seemed to have a definite newbie flavor about them. The
language
command wasn't what you'd expect from someone who's native tongue
was english.
That was fine and the list is normally so friendly the poster
probably felt
comfortable asking the M$ question. Most of the other responses
he/she got to
that post were a bit "tongue in cheek" :-) but McCraw took offense
which (from
what I could see) was exactly what he came to the list to do.

I think that all of his posts (to this and one other thread that I
saw) were
trolls and I really don't care much about that but I'm not gonna
leave the bad
language alone... none of us should... we don't have to tolerate it!

	Just my $00.02!

Hmmm... almost exactly the same things I just posted.

You sure you weren't standing over my shoulder as I typed?

:-)
