Bing;
Ignore the flurry, and
Please do tell us what the error you get says. And if you can tell us "
after installing linux this message showed up" then hopefully the users of
bad language will go home and wash out their mouths with strong soap.....
and the reat or us can go back to being a quietly busy and polite and
helpful list.
Did you notice that the suggestion to format your drive was followed by a
winking smiley face? ;)
while it was a dangerous thing to suggest as not everybody has
enough sense to not do it... it was (is) one way to stop getting that error
message from '95. ...
The information you gave in the original post is inadequate to allow any
real diagnostic help. Thus the joking around...:
the rest of the responses (except the foul language) either asked for the
specific message you got, or made jokes about microsoft's buggy software. I
myself removed the first '95 from my system and named it a virus. Later it
got OK..(sort of) and I have to use it at work. home is still 3.11, NT, and
linux. I specially liked the
"power users add BUGS=OFF to system.cfg"
wish it would work!!!!....^^^^^^^^^^^^..............
anyway, try again and include the error message. and see if the list doesn't
get you some polite and helpful answers. (and we'll ignore the rest)
Brian :)
