I'll check the error logs and send you the actual message. I'm on a
"dread!!" win98 system right now so it will have to be in a separate
message. From memory it was a rules_check message that stated
gdoris localhost was an invalid domain and relaying was not allowed...error
501.
Yes, I'm using a "home" system connected via cable modem. However, I am
usually connected 7x24. I do get regular attempts to relay so I'm not too
concerned with a tighter config file. I'm using the default mc file that
came with your rpm. I haven't made any modifications at all. BTW, I
installed all 3 of your latest rpm's (sendmail, doc's, and cf).

Perhaps but I'm not sure. See comments above. I do get the spammers
testing the box regularly. I'm also a concered about security as I get many
attempts to break into my system. Portsentry does a reasonable job of
dropping the perp's ip's but I don't mind a little tighter control as long
as it don't prevent me using the box!
