Yeah.. 6.0... on install it sees the card... but like I said, the server
that is configured with only drives on the RAID asks to 'insert bootable
media' at start... then runs ok. I was assuming that you had to have the
boot partition on a bios controlled drive...

Hi Bryan,
I haven't played with RAID cards under linux, but I have
read some doco's
on them... The main thing is, what version of RedHat are
you using??
v6.0 supports these cards natively, and, from what I can
gather should be
able to boot off of them...
