Secure Server 2.0 on RH 6.0?

I'm trying to see what help a faster server would be.  I just posted about
trouble getting a newer RH 6.0 box on-line.

Now everything is cool except Secure Server refuses to start.  I think I
did the install exactly by the book but after 'make testcert' I go start
the server with '/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpsd start' and it prints "Starting
HTTPSD:" and seems to hang.

The error_log-ssl has these entries but I've done it carefully twice so I
think the password and locations are correct.  I was wondering if anyone
has seen this and solved it?  I bought SS2.0 right after RH6.0 came out and
it was listed as "probably working" with 6.0 at the time...   Even given
these errors, it's not clear why the startup script hangs...
