Hi! Mike,

I am only can make the PPP dialup connection
manually under root, I have added a new PPP
Users account, but under this account, I can't
make the connection manually (I can't find the
ppp0 interface as under root), and the Gnome
PPP dialer doesn't work too.
I am a new user of Red Hat Linux, would you
please give me some hints?

is your user member of the dialout group?
