Tried that. Got "error: sample Xclients file /usr/etc/skel/.Xclients not
found.
Ways to fix that?

If you have installed KDE correctly, you should only have to type
'usekde' at the console for the correct settings to be made for you.
Dont use it myself, but this is a nice feature IMO :-)
