chmod 600 on /dev/hda

Hello all,

I was looking through my logs on a box I'd recently setup and came across
the following message:

/dev/hda5 perms insecure: 660: try 600
/dev/hda6 perms insecure: 660: try 600

So I went over to /dev/ and did chmod 600 /dev/hda5 and repeated for hda6.

Which leads me to the question, can I do this for all /dev/hd devices?

Pointers to references, clues, would be appreciated.
