the i edditions are for use outside the us, the us edditions for inside
the US.
My recomendation is to download 1.27 rpms install them and compile ssh
2.0.13 from the source which can also be found at replay.com. The source
uses a diferent dir standard, so it will put files in /usr/local/bin and
/usr/local/sbin instead of the redhat standard of /usr/(s)bin. As a
general runle of thumb I remove the /usr/local sub dirs and create links
in their place to the coresponding /usr/ directory. On stand alone
machines it just seems redundant. You could just link the individual
files, if my drastic method disagrees with you. Then everything should
work ok.
