Linuxconf always wants to start gpm on exit

Hi,

I have the following problem with linuxconf on two Redhat 6.0
systems:

Everytime I exit linuxconf I get a message that things are to
be done no matter if I changed something or not. The list of
things to do always consists of "/etc/rc.d/rc5.d/S85gpm start".
If I look at the running processes, gpm is already running.
This happens even if I start linuxconf, quit it without touching
a thing.

Is this a known behaviour (bug) or do I have to change something?
The linuxconf version here is v1.14r4-4.

Regards,
Reiner Buehl.
