Nameserver problem I think

Ok, I can telnet from the server to any other machine using the ip
address of that machine, but not www.name.org
The name on the other machine does exist and I can do this from any of
the other servers that I run.  Just really baffling me here..
I have two nameservers in resolv.conf just like I have on the other
machines...
Anybody want to clue me in?
