It does, and has been doing for a long time, similar things for my
/usr/sbin/pppd, wants to remount my cd and zip drives, change several
permissions on files to what they already are, etc.
I always just choose quit a second time and restart things manually if
they need it.
Even better, manually edit as much as you can unless you have to do a
lot of it.
