I am trying an rpm rebuild of a newer netkit-base and when it goes to
build ping i get the following error:
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/netkit-base-0.10/ping/ make
gcc -pipe -D__USE_BSD_SIGNAL -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith
-Wbad-function-cast -Wcas
t-qual -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations
-Wnested-
externs -Winline ping.c -c
ping.c:225: `IP_PKTINFO' undeclared here (not in a function)
ping.c:225: initializer element for `cmsg.cm.cmsg_type' is not constant
make: *** [ping.o] Error 1
I am trying to rebuild this src rpm on a redhat-5.2 linux-2.0.38 box and
have not been able to compile ping. Can anyone point me to a possible
solution for this problem? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Regards
