RE: Nic card



You don't mention whether it's ISA or PCI (or are all NE2000 ISA?) but I'm
betting ISA.  I have had good luck with RH finding PCI cards but with ISA
cards I've generally found it necessary to either (1) do a LOT of trial and
error or (2) run the manufacturer's diagnostic (typically a DOS app) to get
the right base io and irq settings.  Then I run netconf and poke those in.
You can also make your own entries in /etc/modules.conf but netconf works
better for me.
