What's a "FR"?  Anyways, if you're sniffing, the ethernet interfaces don't
need to be addressed on the same subnet as you're sniffing, just the same
collision domain.  Hence one interface can be on the subnet (so you can
ssh/ftp whatever to it) and the other can be on a bogus network so your
system doesn't get confused.
