Sheesh, we have to go through this at least 3 times per week.  I wish that
we could irradicate those evil excuses for modems.  They are the work
of the "Hardware Devil".  (Maybe we should get the nearest "Hardware
Priest" and exorcize them all!  <Grin!>)
