Re: basic Upgrade of Package ?



Matt:

you are trying to install the source rpm not the perl package, when you
install the source you have to compile it and then install it. I
recommend installing the perl package it should look like :
perl-xxxxxxx.rpm 

and you do it the same way . 
rpm -Uvh perl-xxxxxx.rpm
