Add apps to root menu??

Hi all,
 
I have been trying to add some apps to my rootmenu but can't figure out
what file to edit.  I have my box starting up with mwm that came with
rh5.2 and have tried editing the fvwm2rc file and the fvwmrc files but
have not been able to get the apps on to the rootmenu.  Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
