OLITEC modem and PPP dialing

Hi, everybody!
	I have an OLITEC 33600 bps modem and I want to know the string
init of it (I don't have documentation of it because I bougth it by 
second 
hand)

	The second question : Is the IP adresse necessary for dialing a PPP 
server which give us  a dynamique IP adresse? If yes why Windows9x
don't need it.
