Well,

Just did testparm everything is ok. Then i did testprnts everthing ok.
Then 
smbclient everyting ok can look at file and change dir on win98 box no
problem.  But here is the problem the win98 box still doesn't want to
work.  It does see the linux box but every time you double click the
icon for the linux box you get this error "the computer or sharename
could not be found. Make shore you typed it correctly or try agian." So
the problem must be on the windoz end??????  any help i have tried
everthing did the tipical 30 reboots and change setting on the win98box
disabled and enabled encript passwd and still get the same error.  I
wish I could get my wife to convert over to linux this would make my
life much simpler.  But like all spouces they have to have there own
thing and stick you with the sysadmin of two o/s! Sorry if it sound like
i am bitching just hate to spend the entir weekend messing with her
windoz box.  thank god that she was out of towm this weekend.
