not really... i usually have one machine that i just experiment with. so,
if you've got 10-12 gig of disk in a "play machine" why not install many
different systems. i've had several unixen on one machine, just to poke
around at the differences between them.

a big harddrive is certainly cheaper than 4-5 pcs
