I had pretty close to this same experience with star office 4. Particularly if I
would forget about it and leave it running for a while or if I would minimize it.
However now that I have gone to star office 5 it has worked perfectly. No lockups
at all in the last month. This is on a very clean install of 5.2 on a P2/450.
Not too much else installed on this machine, netscape 4.5, and rc5des, but I am on
this machine every day.
One thing I may have noticed, or perhaps it was my imagination, was that it seemed
picky about it's permissions. This time when I installed it I own the Office50
and everything under it. Could be coincidence though.
