Re: StarOffice Hanging

I registered (got a customer number and registration key) and downloaded SO
5.01.

Untarred the whole thing, and succesfully got my so501 directory and
subdirectories, under so501_inst I can even find the setup file.
However, when I do the :

# ./setup

I get permission denied

I have tried as root and as an ordinary user ??

I tried to chmod the permisions to the setup file, e.g.

# chmod 770 setup

doesnt make any difference,

any key, on whether I am doing something wrong or is just a buggy suite ??.

I am running RH 5.2

thanks,
