Thank you I will take a look. One more question I also have solaris 7 on a cd can i use the cde off of that under 5.2??

CDE isn't free and the version Red Hat was carrying was found to have
a lot of serious security troubles so they dropped it.  If you want
CDE but would settle for something which looks and acts like CDE try
XFCE...
