ypchfn does not work (RHL 5.2)

Hi,

I have test configuration with a NIS master server and a NIS client
and it seems to work pretty well (including yppasswd), but ypchfn
fails to work.

At the end ypchfn always says (note the contradiction):

  Error while changing the GECOS information.
  The GECOS information has not been changed on <name of NIS server>.


  The GECOS information has been changed on <name of NIS server>.

And the GECOS information on the master actually has _not_ been changed.
Is this a known problem?  Is there a solution?
