Hi All,
I need help. I've just tried to get my modem to work under linux. (Redhat
5.2) Anyway I found a package called EzPPP and set it up. I didn't touch and
/etc/hosts or anything. Anyway the modem is setup under /dev/modem. Anwyay
when I tell EzPPP to dial it does and actually seems to make a connection.
The problem arises that after about 90 seconds I get the message 'PPPd
really did die'. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction. If you
need to know any more then please ask. TIA
Redhat 5.2 Kernel 2.2.1 pppd-2.5.3 (the latest) Modem is V90 Hightech which
works under Windows. TIA
Rus
