Apparently the RedHat staff have redirected info about pam off to another
server - the temp.redhat.com you see above. That machine can be reached from the
Internet, but router.redhat.com responds with an "admin prohibited filter" icmp
message when one tries to reach the web server on it. That probably means their
firewall is blocking access from the outside world.
In short, either their firewall or the original redirect is probably
misconfigured. I'm sending a copy of this to the webmaster, but don't be surprised
if they're off for the weekend too!
Until Monday, you might try an Altavista search for "Orange-Linux"; I _think_
that web site had some pam info too.
Cheers,
- Bill
BTW - Your original message appeared to be directed specifically at me and not at the
RedHat-list. While I'm happy to help, you've got a much better chance at an answer
with all the brainpower and experience on that list combined than with me alone...

Unix _is_ user friendly. It's just very selective about who its friends
are. And sometimes even best friends have fights.
