Actually, NT was written by the same man/team that wrote VMS. Can't
remember his name right off, but I can find it for you if you like. But
yes, NT on a 486 is god-awful ugly. I've seen it. <shudder> By comparison,
Linux on my 486-66/64 mb ram ran dhcpd, httpd, sendmail, etc., and was still
faster on the gui than NT on the same speed PC. <smug smile>
Linux is harder to set up/learn than NT, but the rewards are worth it.
