Installing Netscape 4.50 & more

Hi, 

a few quick questions...

I downlaoded the 4.50 netscape commuicator RPM, do I need to remove
the existing Netscape 4.06 installation before installing 4.50?

If so, how do I do this?

Secondly,

I'm getting a message on my console saying:

that a getty is respawning too rapidly, what causes this and how
do I fix this?
