I know for sure the pop3 client is set up correctly, I've cranked up my
sniffer and analysed the pop3 traffic - each time, it connect fine -
there's just no mail. Then, I log in to the lynux box as root and I've got
mail waiting (redirected from post-master) from MAILER-DAEMON saying that
there was undeliverable mail and that the user Dalex was not found. Dalex
was the user I connected with from the pop3 client

I get the same problem whether I use an alias or not and I've checked out
/etc/aliases. My user alias is set up in the same format that root was for
post-master. I've run the newaliases command and it processed the aliases
file without a hitch.

At my current level of experience with linux (that being "sub-newbie"), I'm
out of ideas. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me toward a
really good HOWTO that covers this problem? Thanks for your time!
