Netscape crashing regularly now

Lately I have noticed, VERY irritatingly, that Communicator
4.5 tends to crash 9 times out of 10 when loading my homepage,
http://www.freshmeat.net

The only thing that has changed recently was the layout of
the site, not my system.  Does anyone else have any problems
of this nature on certain websites with NS 4.5?

I am running RH 5.2, kernel 2.0.36-1 and all the latest
5.2 updates available (except for the latest kernel).  

Netscape has worked rather well until now.  It just craps out,
no error message, nothing.  One moment it is up and loading
the page, the next instant, at about the same point each time,
it suddenly vanishes.  

What up?

Damn I wish there was a graphical alternative to NS.  Mozilla,
Opera, SOMETHING.  StarOffice is too slow and kfm with KDE 
just doesn't support all that is out there on the web to 
anything near the extent that NS (or IE) does.
