I used a Diamond Viper V330 AGP for some time.  It uses the SVGA driver.  I 
later upgraded to a card with more memory, but the Viper was a wonderfully 
fast and nice card.

My experience is that the hardware compatibility lists are rather 
incomplete, not listing a lot of hardware that is supported.  I don't know 
if this is on purpose or due to a lack of time on the folks who maintain 
the lists.
