Re: Recompiling kernel

Well, I managed to do it the hard way and got everything I needed
installed via upgrade methed. Once I got everything installed I
recompiled the kernel, but I still don't see that I have vfat support. I
don't know why it does show up. If I type 'more /proc/filesystems'
doesn't that show if I have vfat support? I did manage to look at my
windows filesystem anyway, but I don't know if that will enable me to
download files through windows and then copy from windows to linux?
Since that is the only way I can download anything at the moment.

thanks,

Aaron
