message output to xconsole window

Hi all,

I am looking for a way to display the out put of tail -f
/var/log/messages to my xconsole window while logged into xwindows.  I
would like to have this work for all accounts rather than having to log
su to root in a xterm and then run 
tail -f /var/log/messages.  If any one can help me out thanks for the
help.  I am using redhat 5.2 and running mwm.
