In the path field enter this:

\\<ip address of the samba server>

Now, if you click OK now, it should bring up all shares available to bill,
or you can append \home to the above path and
map his home directory. (Which should be the only thing defined right now)

 There are a myriad of other options you can configure such as making the
samba server available in the network neighborhood
and etc.... But this will give you the basic functionality of samba.
