I use 2.0.36 and by default it recognizes my PCMCIA cards (D-Link 660
and Xircom CEM56) but whenever I recompile the kernel to have APM
support my cards are detected but the initializing part doesn't get
finished. If I do "lsmod" the modules are there alright and the
network-scripts are still intact but if I type "ifconfig -a" the
cards's IP addresses are not initialized.
I've reinstalled and recompile RH5.2 several times to check for
mistakes but it still eludes me. Could someone please help. Thanks.
