RE: This is not good!



Hi.  Thanks for the reply.  I am not certain where else to look for errors.
I have listed the only one I get... the insmod error.  I did try one thing
in FVWM that I thought might work.  I opened the kernel daemon and removed
the card and then added it back in.  I noticed something strange though.  It
listed a NE2000 without any i/o address or irq and it listed a ne with an
i/o=0x6800 and irq=10, which is correct.  I don't know why it had the
additional NE200 in there.  After I restarted it still didn't work and I
opened the kernel daemon in FVWM and found that the NE2000 was added back in
again.

Any ideas?

Not helpful, that reply, and not entirely correct either. NT won't run a
tenth of the games Win98 will for instance.

Bill, are you saying your NIC doesn't work under RH 5.2 after you upgraded
the motherboard? Will dmesg show anything? Have you tried insmod <module for
your NIC>?
