Just a quick question.
After I upgraded my kernel (to 2.2.3) I noticed that wp 8 could not save a file
anymore on a NFS mounted filesystem. It can create the file, but then complains
that the file is in use by another user. When specifying another name, it
happens all over again, so I cannot save the file on the NFS mounted FS. I can
only save it locally, and then cp it over to the NFS mounted FS.
It looks like the kernel upgrade had something to do with it. Unfortunately
I removed the old 2.0.36 kernel stuff due to disk space limitations, so I
can not test (easily) with the old kernel.
I was wondering whether some one had seen the same issue in relation to
NFS and wp 8. Other programs (like vi,cp, netscape) do not seem to have
a problem with it.
TIA,
Hans Feringa
