Help Accessing /mnt/win

I just had to install linux from scratch and can't seem to access my
windows partition from Linux. Well, I can access /mnt/win, but I am not
getting access to all the folders. For some reason I get a message
saying the folder I am trying to access doesn't exist. Though I know
it's there.\

Anyone have any ideas?
