HI friends !
I don't know why I'm having so many troubles with PPPD
Listen.
When a user try to log into my system using ppp (AutoPPP)
The PAP Authentication and login section goes ok
But, in the time of set the interfaces up, the PPPD lates more time
as if resolving something unknown via DNS or I dont know what in the
hell he is looking for :)
So, Winbows 95 clients, has not pasion to wait so much and disconnect.
But...
If I type ndc stop, and a user dial into the server via ppp all goes
ok, and fast enough, Why this ???
My Local IP on the Local Network is 172.16.10.1, on the Internet, via
a CISCO Router wich is on the Same NIC, I use 169.158.162.33
Ie. eth0 169.158.162.33
eth0:0 172.16.10.1
My clients get an IP in the network 180.1.0.0
I have another Interface via PPP with a Leased Line
in this case I use 192.168.1.1 for me and 192.168.1.2 for the peer
I really don't know what is causing these troubles.
But we also reliza a PPP with another network via Telephone Line
In that case we receive Dynamic IP in the network 196.1.112.0
the peer 196.1.112.26
Could someone be able to discover Why the PPP Clients can not get in
??
But If another Ckient Ie a Linux Box try to set a PPP with us, without
use some ppp options (-pap -chap nologin noauth) they are able to get
in normally...
I really don'rt have idea of wwhat is going on here...
Regards and thanks in advance
