cross cable pin-out for 10baset and 100basetx
with the rj45 facing you (as if you were going to plug it into your mouth)
with the retaining clip on top

1=output+
2=output-
3=input+
6=input-
on one side of the cable you swap 1 with 3 and 2 with 6
if you wire with the usual color scheme on one side:
1=orange 2=white/orange 3=white/green 4=white/blue 5= blue 6=green 7=brown
8=white/brown
the other should be:
1=white/green 2=green 3=orange 4=white/blue 5= blue 6=white/orange 7=brown
8=white/brown
